It is our desire to help you, no matter what you age, come to the place of a growing personal relationship with God. It is also our desire to help you build Christ-like relationships within your own family, and within the church. Some of our major adult ministries are as follows:
SUNDAY SCHOOL - Meets at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings
Below is a list of our current adult classes, what they are studying and who is leading the class. Feel free to visit one of these classes and sample what it has to offer.
- Crossroads - For the next 8 weeks, Chip Ingram (facilitated by Daniel Maxwell) will unpack 5 lies that have the potential to ruin relationships with those we love. We'll also examine the source of quarreling, how our words can wound others, how not to make decisions, and why better thing don't always make things better.
- Power and Light - Studying the book of Daniel, led by Denny Kreoger
- Spirit Seekers - Studying the book, "Who Stole My Church" led by Donnie Barker
- Forever Young - Studying the books of 1 & 2 Samuel, led by Gary Skarda
- Young Married's - Studying an overview of the Old Testament, (This is a class for those married 8 years or less, to equip and strengthen new marriages) led by Pastor Brian Spitzer
WOMENS MINISTRIES
Our Women's Ministries Team works diligently to provide exciting growth and fellowship opportunities for women at Grandview. These activities include:
- Annual Fall Getaway at the retreat center in DeWitt, Iowa.
- Women of Purpose Bible Study on Tuesday mornings.
- Careborne Program which keeps college students and young service people connected with Grandview.
- Provide baby and bridal showers for first time mothers and new brides .
- Coordinate and provide welcome gifts for first time visitors.
- Organize the delivery of meals to families with a new baby.
- Supports and oversees the MOPS program at Grandview
